Extracurricular Activities
At Riverstone Montessori, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our extracurricular programs give children meaningful opportunities to explore new interests, strengthen emerging talents, and build confidence in a joyful, supportive environment.
We intentionally curate activities that nurture the whole child – mind, body, and spirit – while honoring Montessori principles of independence, curiosity, and hands‑on discovery.
Enrichment Classes (During the School Day)
Every child participates in weekly enrichment classes designed to broaden their learning experience:
• Spanish – Builds early language awareness, cultural appreciation, and communication skills.
• Music – Encourages creativity, rhythm, listening, and self‑expression.
These classes enrich the Montessori curriculum and help children develop confidence, focus, and a love of learning.
After School Extracurricular Programs
Our after‑school offerings allow children to explore interests beyond the classroom and discover new passions. Programs vary by semester and may include:
• Soccer Shots
• Intro to Sports
• Art Classes
• Bollywood Dance
• Yoga
• Language Classes
• Seasonal Specialty Workshops
Each program is led by experienced instructors who understand how to engage young learners and create a positive, encouraging environment.
