First Steps (12 months – 18 months)

The Montessori approach emphasizes creating a calm and peaceful learning environment that promotes exploration, discovery, and the development of concentration skills. In our lovely classroom setting, we foster and nurture your child’s independence. For infants, this can mean a peaceful and nurturing environment that supports their natural development, such as providing opportunities for movement and exploration, promoting sensory experiences, and encouraging positive social interactions with others as they get ready for the Toddler classroom. We use books, singing, and rhymes to encourage their vocabulary.
